Regions:

• The Deep Core: This includes the now destroyed Byss. These routes were discovered by Jedi, and there are no regular trade routes. Travel is hazardous due to stars and black holes being close together.
• The Core : This sector is the junction of all major hyperspace routes. Coruscant lies at it's center.
• Expansion Region
• Mid-Rim: This region is well populated but smaller than either core or outer rim. Less prosperous than the one, but far more civilized than the other.
• Outer Rim: This area is less attended to by the Core Government, whether Alliance, Imperial or other, due to it's distance.
For this reason, piracy, smuggling and other criminal activities are not uncommon. This is where people go to hide, flee, or just start over as pioneers.
• Wild Space : This region varies in size. It is has been explored and has trade routes but is not as connected to the galactic governments as even the Outer Rim.
• Uknown Regions : While some information about these regions has been discovered, there are no trading routes. Very little is known about this region
